Alyssa Batula is a Data Scientist with a background including electrical engineering, programming, robotics, and data science. She first learned Python as an alternative to Matlab in graduate school, and she has been hooked ever since.

Her experience working as part of both an engineering team and a data science team has given her unique experiences with the Agile framework. She has seen it working as intended with a team of software engineers and has also experienced the growing pains of learning how to make it work for a team of data scientists.
